SMOKED BLACK COD POACHED IN 33 ACRES
INGREDIENTS
Smoked Black Cod:
-
1 – 2 portions of Mitch’s Catch Smoked Black Cod

1 bottle of beer (we love 33 Acres of Sunshine)
Add On: Ginger Sesame Bok Choy
-
8 heads of bok choy
-
3 cloves of garlic (crushed and chopped)
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
1 tsp fresh ginger
-
1/4 tsp chili flakes

HOW TO
Poached Smoked Black Cod:
-
Fill a large pot with your bottle of beer and set your burner to high heat until the beer starts to boil.

Put a bamboo steamer basket in your pot and turn the heat to low.

Place your Mitch’s Catch Smoked Black Cod onto the steamer basket and close the lid.

Poach your Cod for 10-15 minutes or until you see your fish start to flake.

Enjoy!
Ginger Sesame Bok Choy:

Combine sesame oil, soy sauce and chili flakes in a small bowl.

Heat the oil in a large skillet and cook the garlic and ginger until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.

Mix in the bok choy and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture and cook for 2 minutes or until heated through and leaves are gently wilted.

Serve with Poached Mitch’s Catch Smoked Black Cod.
