Prawn Boil

PRAWN BOIL

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs Mitch’s Catch Spot Prawn Tails (see thawing instructions below)
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 3-4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley
  • 4-5 husked cobs of corn (brush with olive oil and grill till lightly charred)
  • 6 pieces of garlic bread (slice a baguette into six pieces, drizzle with olive oil, grill until lightly browned, rub a fresh clove of garlic over heated bread)
Important Prep Note:
Remove Mitch’s Catch Spot Prawn Tails from your freezer, remove from container & place in your fridge the night before you want to enjoy it (morning of works to)! If you want to enjoy them sooner, remove from container and put them into a bowl and add cool water to thaw.

HOW TO

  1. Bring a large pot of  salted water to a boil.
  2. Add prawns and boil until prawns float to the top.
  3. While prawns are boiling, melt butter in a large frying pan that you will also use to serve your dish in.
  4. Add garlic & sauté until very fragrant.
  5. Once prawns float to the top, add to the melted butter/garlic combo.
  6. Sauté until well coated, toss in fresh parsley.
  7. Place corn and garlic bread around buttered prawns.
  8. Serve family style with sliced lemon and lots of napkins and enjoy!
